The Hebrew Academy of Nassau County High School is a mission-driven, modern Orthodox, co-educational private yeshiva high school located in Nassau County.  HANC is seeking a full time High School Math Teacher beginning September 2026.

About the Role

The candidate will teach New York State Regents and Advanced Placement (AP) Mathematics courses, fostering a dynamic and student-centered learning environment. Courses may include:

  • Algebra

  • Geometry

  • Algebra II

  • AP Pre-Calculus

  • AP Statistics

Qualifications

We are looking for an educator who:

  • Has experience teaching various levels of High School Mathematics

  • Possesses strong curricular knowledge and a deep understanding of math instruction

  • Is committed to a student-centered approach that encourages discovery and exploration

  • Thrives in a collaborative, engaging, and growth-oriented school community
