The Harry & Rose Samson Family JCC invites flexible, energetic, and caring educators to join our family of staff as a Substitute Early Childhood Teacher at our Gan Ami campus in Mequon.
Position Summary
As a substitute, you play a vital role in maintaining our high standards of care. You will step into various classrooms (ages 6 weeks through K4) to ensure our children continue to feel safe, respected, and engaged in a nurturing environment. This is a perfect role for those who love early education but require a more flexible schedule or are looking to gain experience in a 5-star rated program.
A good candidate will have:
- A genuine love and respect for children and families.
- The ability to adapt quickly to different classroom routines and age groups.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- The ability to obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR certifications (free training available onsite for hired staff)
An ideal candidate will have all of the above, plus:
- Previous experience in an Early Childhood Education (ECE) or group childcare setting.
- An active profile on the Wisconsin Registry for Early Childhood.
- Reliability and a "team-player" attitude.
About Our School
Gan Ami Early Childhood Education serves families with children ages 6 weeks through K4 at two unique sites – Mequon & Whitefish Bay. Gan Ami is rated by the State of Wisconsin as a Youngstar 5-star provider and has earned national accreditation from the Association for Early Learning Leaders’ National Accreditation Commission (NAC).
Gan Ami is a program of the Harry & Rose Samson Family JCC, a non-profit social services agency founded upon Jewish ethics and values that is committed to meeting the ever-changing needs of the entire community. Operating out of five facilities throughout Wisconsin, the JCC provides the total community with a forum for open dialogue and offers inclusive wellness, education, and community services for members and guests of all backgrounds.
