Grant Writer and Donor Relations Manager

Hand in Hand advances shared society and equality between Jews and Arabs in Israel through a growing network of integrated, bilingual schools and communities. The urgency of our work has only grown since October 7 and we are currently seeking a talented, motivated professional to join our resource development team.
This is a full-time position in Isarel with hybrid work – mostly remote, with one day a week in our Jerusalem office.
Position Summary
The ideal candidate is first and foremost aligned with Hand in Hand's mission. In terms of skills, s/he is self-reflective, an outstanding writer, and a dedicated team player. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Managing a portfolio of international donor accounts including by executing an annual personalized communication and stewardship plan
· Developing proposals and reports that communicate the unique value of our organization's work to current and prospective donors
· Documenting, framing and reporting on our impact through producing compelling written assets
· Serving as a valued, accountable and vocal team member who collaborates respectfully and proactively with diverse colleagues
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate whose mother tongue is English and who has fluent Hebrew; Arabic is a significant plus. Key additional qualifications for this role are:
· B.A. degree minimum and previous professional experience in a similar role
· Outstanding writing skills and a love of writing
· Integrity and a high degree of responsibility, detail-orientation and thoroughness
· A high degree of responsiveness, ability to multitask, and adeptness at balancing multiple assignments at once
· Openness to direction and constructive feedback
· Experience working with Salesforce, Excel and Canva is a plus
· Experience in the shared society field is a plus
