Fundraising Strategy & Execution * Create and implement the North American fundraising strategy to grow and diversify HaGal Sheli’s funding base. * Skillfully collaborate with HaGal Sheli’s CEO and Global Partnerships Head to provide development expertise in prospecting, funder strategy, communications, and donor meetings. * Solicit donations and steward relationships through tailored, high-impact strategies, leveraging both in-person and virtual meetings. * Develop and execute cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans to increase individual donor contributions and secure new support. Relationship Building & Stewardship * Build and strengthen relationships with current funders and supporters, ensuring they feel valued and connected to HaGal Sheli’s mission. * Research, identify, and cultivate new funding opportunities, with a particular focus on major donors and institutions. * Represent HaGal Sheli at key events, donor meetings, and community gatherings, elevating the organization’s profile and impact. Operational & Donor Management * Coordinate and track actions required to move prospects through all stages of the cultivation process. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor information across CRM systems, ensuring all contact and relationship data is meticulously recorded. * Support staff and board members in their prospecting, cultivation, and solicitation activities. * Coordinate and plan North American visits for HaGal Sheli’s CEO and Global Partnerships Head, including scheduling donor meetings, events, and travel logistics. Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree required. * Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in a donor-facing fundraising role working directly with donors. * Proven track record in successfully securing 5- and 6-figure donations from individual donors. * Proficiency in writing clear and compelling grant proposals, demonstrating a track record of successful grant awards and familiarity with grant management processes. * Knowledge of Jewish philanthropy and/or experience working in Israel. * Proficiency in Hebrew, both written and spoken – a significant advantage. * Responsible self-starter, able to work independently and with curiosity and manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. * Ability to work cross-culturally and multilingually in diverse work and communication styles. * Demonstrated experience with donor portfolio management in a CRM or fundraising database; Salesforce experience preferred. * Experience in fundraising strategy and planning for a multi-tier individual donor portfolio is strongly preferred. * Superb verbal and written interpersonal communication skills. * Organized, with meticulous attention to detail. * Proficiency with Google platforms, including Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Sheets. * Must reside within the United States. * Able to travel within the United States and to Israel. * Able to work flexible hours to meet the needs of donors and key stakeholders. * Available to meet virtually with staff based in Israel and the regi

Additional Notes
* This is a full-time remote position that will require daily coordination via Zoom, WhatsApp, and similar platforms. * The work week is Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm, with flexibility to coordinate times with Israel colleagues (7 hours ahead, with a work week that is Sunday through Thursday).
