Position Summary

The Karate Activity Specialist provides structured martial arts instruction that promotes physical fitness, self-discipline, confidence, respect, and teamwork while ensuring participant safety.

Minimum Qualifications

● Experience teaching karate or martial arts to children.
● Appropriate martial arts certification, rank, or equivalent instructional experience.
● Knowledge of child development and classroom management techniques.

Key Responsibilities

● Plan and lead age-appropriate (K-5) karate instruction.
● Teach proper techniques, discipline, respect, and sportsmanship.
● Ensure participant safety during all instructional activities.
● Monitor participant progress and encourage skill development.
● Collaborate with program staff to support participant engagement and positive behavior.

Hours of Program - Monday - Friday from 2:20PM - 5:30PM.
The position will be 3+ hours during the above timeframe

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
