Position Summary

The Project Read/Math Activity Specialist delivers high-quality literacy and mathematics instruction designed to strengthen participants' academic skills through engaging, standards-based learning activities.

Minimum Qualifications

● Teaching certification is required.

● Experience teaching Project Read or another structured literacy program and/or elementary mathematics.
● Demonstrated expertise in literacy and mathematics instruction.
● Experience working with elementary-aged students in a classroom or afterschool setting.

Key Responsibilities

● Plan and implement literacy and mathematics lessons aligned with program objectives.
● Provide academic support using evidence-based instructional strategies.
● Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of participants.
● Monitor participant progress and communicate outcomes with the Content Specialist.
● Create a positive, engaging, and academically supportive learning environment.

Hours of Program - Monday - Friday from 2:20PM - 5:30PM.
The position will be 3+ hours during the above timeframe

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
