Full job description

Position Description:

The H.E.S. Summer Camp is seeking a qualified individual to facilitate the Summer Camp Dance Program. The program consists of children, ranging in ages from 4-16, attending 45 minute – 1 hour sessions. The groups range in size from 10 – 18 children per group. Children will take part in Dance activities designed to support children’s emotional, social and physical growth as well as to ensure and provide Summer Camp Program fun.

Education & Qualification:

- Must have prior Camp experience or experience working with children

- Must be outgoing, responsible and organized

- Must be creative

- Must be able to develop curriculum / activities supporting Dance fun

- Prior / current Dance teaching experience preferred

- Must be able to put together and choreograph a final show / performance

June 29, 2026 – August 19, 2026

(M-F 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM) – Exact hours will be determined by the Summer Camp Program Director and the needs of the Summer Camp Program.

- Develop curriculum and projects supporting Dance and Summer Camp Program fun

- Facilitate activities supporting Dance

- Maintain order in a large group setting

- Support children’s emotional, social and physical growth while promoting Summer Camp Program fun

- Put together and choreograph a final show / performance

Determined by prior experience and education pertaining to childhood development / Dance

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
