Full job description
The H.E.S. Summer Day Camp is seeking a qualified individual to supervise, support and fun a Camp Unit. The position consists of supervising 150+ children, ranging in ages from 4-16, as well as supervising 30+ counselors. The Unit goes on weekly trips as well as takes part in on-site activities.
Education & Qualification:
- Must have prior camp experience or experience working with children
- Must be outgoing, responsible and organized
- Must be willing / able to commit to extended day activities / trips
- Must be willing / able to commit to overnight trips
- Prior / current supervisory education / teaching experience preferred
June 29, 2026 – August 19, 2026 (M-F 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
*There will be additional training, meetings, and administrative days which are mandatory prior to the start of camp.
- Supervise children and staff during on-site activities
- Supervise children and staff during off-site trips
- Support the facilitation of activities by activity specialists
- Communicate with parents
- Communicate / work under the supervision of the Assistant Camp Director & Camp Director
Temporary/Seasonal $850.00 per week
