WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Activities Coordinator is a non-exempt position responsible for the planning and execution of diverse activities encompassing physical education, recreational, vocational, religious, and group activities.
- Plan, organize, and execute a diverse range of youth activities from conception to implementation to include pricing, transportation, food arrangements, scheduling, staff ratios, dissemination of activities, and maintaining communicating with Program Leaders to keep them informed.
- Monitor cameras and upkeep of camera logs.
- Monitor and ensure supplies are sufficient for activities.
- Research possible providers to serve and address children’s needs.
- Perform all other duties as assigned

- $19.61 per hour; plus $.50 per hour for 2nd shift hours and $1.00 per hour for overnight and weekend hours

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
- Experience working with children.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish, with the capacity to communicate seamlessly in both languages
- Ability to effectively communication with a wide variety of people of various ages and diverse backgrounds
- Ability to develop, plan, coordinate, and execute events and youth activities
- Proficient in reading, writing, and comprehending instructions with the ability to execute them accurately
- Capacity to understand and carry out tasks effectively, ensuring precise adherence to guidelines and instruction
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse levels of management
- Ability to work in stressful environments and situations
- Ability to lift and/or carry equipment, supplies, etc. up to 25 lbs. when required
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in various environments and situations
- Proof of Immunization for: Varicella (2 doses), MMR (2 doses), Influenza (1 dose yearly), Tdap (1 dose).
- Must have a valid drivers' license and proof of auto insurance coverage.
