WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Case Manager Aide is a non-exempt position responsible for supporting case management services, including the upkeep, maintenance, and integrity of all clients' documentation. The Case Manager Aide performs clerical duties to ensure that case management services are provided to UAC Staff in a timely manner.
- Assist and support Case Managers to provide services to clients, including assistance to implement Individual Service Plans.
- Provide clerical and client records support.
- Provide case aide service by arranging, implementing, and monitoring services to clients.
- File, track, and assist staff in accessing files on a daily basis.
- Assist with managing incoming and outgoing calls related to caseloads.
- Insure and safeguard the rights of clients, including mandatory reporting of suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation to the Florida Abuse Hotline.
- Assembles charts for all new admissions and released clients according to the Chart Index.
- Transports clients to appointments, court hearings, and/or discharge to the airport when Direct Care Staff are not available or otherwise engaged.
- Consistently files all incoming documentation and ensures that filing is completed within the specified timeframes.
- Answers departmental telephones, routes calls, takes messages, and provides routine information when applicable to other employees, etc., promptly and courteously. Assists with front office phone calls/reception as needed.
- Continuously interacts with and supports case managers and Quality Improvement (QI) Department staff as directed to maintain the documentation within the charts to meet funding regulations.
- Assists with record retrieval, destruction, and archiving at the storage facility.
- Attends all required program meetings and other agency-required trainings.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for the UAC, purchase airline tickets, and maintain a record of purchases.

- $20.24 per hour PLUS $.50 per hour for working during 2nd shift hours and $1.00 per hour for working overnight and weekend hours

WHAT YOU NEED:
- High School diploma or equivalent and two (2) years’ experience working with children.
- Previous clerical and filing experience in a health care setting is preferred
- Must have excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills
- Must be computer literate and competent in using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must have knowledge of numerical and alphabetical filing systems
- Must be Bilingual in Spanish/English
- Previous clerical/filing experience in a health care setting is preferred
- Proof of Immunization for: Varicella (2 doses), MMR (2 doses), Influenza (1 dose yearly), and Tdap (1 dose).
- Must have a valid driver's license with proof of auto insurance coverage.
