WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Lead Case Manager is an exempt position responsible for coordinating case management and safe and timely release services, training new case managers, and supervising the work of other case managers. The Lead Case Manager ensures oversight and case coordination of case management services.
Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Assigns caseload of children for intensive case management and needed services such as medical exams, educational assessments, legal services, and the child's family reunification.
- Supervise, assist, and train Case Managers and the Sub-Lead Case Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures completion of assessments and any related social or medical history reports or forms as they pertain to the client’s needs and case record.
- Coordinates the service planning process; Participates in client staffing and follow-up as assigned.
- Ensures the concise and timely completion of all paperwork or documentation, including but not limited to administrative, clinical, or caseload requirements.
- Ensures and safeguards the human and legal rights of clients.
- Provide direct services to children to ensure a staff/client ratio is maintained in accordance with DCF regulations.
- Provides quality services and maintains desired productivity levels as defined by the supervisor.
- Complies with all policies and procedures as outlined by funding sources, state licensing requirements, and the agency.
- Responds to emergencies and provides crisis intervention.
- Applies for support funds as needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three (3) years progressive employment experience that demonstrates supervisory and case management, and two (2) years of working with children.
- Master’s degree in the behavioral sciences, human services or social services fields; preferred.
- Must participate in at least 10 hours of continuing education/training per year.
- Must be bilingual in English/Spanish
- Proof of Immunization for: Varicella (2 doses), MMR (1 dose), Influenza (yearly), Tdap (1 dose).
- Must have a valid driver’s license with auto insurance coverage.
