WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Program Manager for Adele Gilbert RTF is an exempt position responsible for managing the Adele Gilbert Residential Treatment Facility.

Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and supervise Mental Health Technicians (MHTs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)
  • Oversee the staff schedule, ensure the building is always staffed, and provide administrative supervision to all program staff.
  • Oversee staff documentation compliance, including training, assessments, and performance.
  • Facilitate the hiring and onboarding process for supervised positions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all aspects of treatment provision are coordinated, scheduled, and executed, including medical care, psychiatric care, and any other services provided.
  • Complete reports on a scheduled basis, review and update policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation for hurricane season, internal/external audits, and licensing processes.
  • Ensure building safety and maintenance along with the Residential Director.
  • Act as the safety coordinator for the facility, ensuring drills are completed and company vehicles are maintained according to all FDOT requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of petty cash funds and room and board payments through accurate and timely completion of reimbursement to the agency's fiscal department.
  • In collaboration with the Residential Director, maintain the program budget and monitor spending.
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with other service providers and/or community partners.
  • Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment by being a positive role model for the development of socialization and other skills for all residents.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention.
  • Participate in the Emergency Preparedness Plan, including working off-site during an evacuation, by actively participating in the RTF Team A and Team B model during hurricane season. Additional compensation and support for employees who contribute during this process will be determined on a case-by-case basis, final post-storm performance evaluation, and the program’s budget.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Bachelor's in social work or related field, or 10+ years’ experience in a residential setting in lieu of education requirements.
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience working with co-occurring disorders.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience in areas of program planning, evaluation, budget development, and management (preferably related to mental health or aging services) is highly preferable.
  • Must obtain and maintain the Food Manager certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Must obtain and maintain the Med Tech, CPR, HIV, and First Aid certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), AVATAR, and Electronic Health Records.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment under sometimes difficult client situations, including potential exposure to clients who may be verbally and/or physically aggressive.
  • Staff may be exposed to communicable diseases and bloodborne pathogens, and will be required to wear personal protective equipment as a requirement of the Exposure Control Plan and Safety Program.
  • Ability to lift and or carry supplies, files, medication, etc., up to 25 lbs. when required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with auto insurance coverage.
