WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Heart Gallery Coordinator is a non-exempt position responsible for managing program inquiries, coordinating Support Specialist tasks, and serving as a liaison between program participants and community stakeholders.
- Oversee the coordination and planning of celebrations for youth upon locating their forever families and other accomplishments throughout their adoption journey
- Assist the Program Director with services and reporting as required by contract(s) and agency policies
- Assist with operations related to adoption recruitment and adoption support work, including representation at open houses, foster-adopt orientations, post-adoptive support groups, community child welfare initiative,s and other networking events
- Facilitate the Parent Resources for Information, Development and Education (PRIDE) training for adoptive parents, when required
- Respond to referrals from Case Management for Heart Gallery recruitment
- Assist with writing biographies of children referred to the Program
- Manage, track, and respond to inquiries and calls from prospective adoptive parents and the public
- Assist with Gallery displays located throughout the community, with a focus on photos of adoptive families and children’s artwork
- Perform other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Working experience in the child welfare or social services field is highly desired.
- Bachelor's degree to include work experience, preferred.
- Knowledge of child development is preferred
- Knowledge of community resources and potential partners is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking
- Publication design experience utilizing Adobe-based products such as Creative Cloud, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, or other professional graphics applications preferred
- Digital marketing proficiency, including working across social media channels
- Ability to collaborate with other staff, community partners, and stakeholders
- Highly motivated and self-directed
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to work with clients in stressful situations
- Potential exposure to communicable diseases and/or clients that exhibit physical and or verbal aggression
- Available to work non-traditional work hours, including evenings and weekends, events, when required
- Ability to work in the field at any given time
- Must have a valid driver's license with auto insurance coverage.
