WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Development Coordinator is a non-exempt position responsible for providing support to the fundraising and marketing functions for Gulf Coast JFCS’ more than 50 programs across 7 overarching program pillars. This position is primarily responsible for daily input of philanthropic donations, and timely, accurate acknowledgements to contributors as well as running regular tracking and monitoring reports. Additionally, this position provides administrative and special project support to the team’s marketing and fundraising projects and initiatives, bringing attention and support to the life changing mission of Gulf Coast JFCS

  • Daily input of financial contributions and related donor information into donor database ensuring complete and accurate donor profile information.
  • Prepare and send contribution thank you letters/ contribution receipts within three days of receipt of gift.
  • Become familiar with and support use of giving platforms for special events, i.e. Givesmart, Qtego
  • Ability to run data queries, prepare routine and special reports as needed.
  • Assist with monthly reconciliation of finance and donation accounting.
  • Assist with donor and prospect research, as well as profile research i.e. company affiliation, matching gift information or other relevant profile information.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the donor database with clean up reports and other monitoring.
  • Assist with public inquiry responses, create and mail tribute and memorial card acknowledgements.
  • Provide administrative support to special event planning and execution.
  • Provide assistance as needed with internal program support and other team projects.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and one plus (1+) years of prior administrative and/or database or CRM experience
  • Excellent computer skills, knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Experience demonstrating attention to detail, teamwork and customer service.
