WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Family Support Specialist will team with a case manager, foster parents, primary care giver, guardian ad litem and other appropriate professionals to provide assistance to children, intervention and education to resolve issues of abuse and neglect of children. The Family Support Specialist will assist with the acquisition of services for children and family members related to issues such as substance abuse, adjustment and relationship issues, stress, daily living skills, budget training and employment assistance.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• High School Diploma or equivalency; preferred.
• Minimum of one-year experience working with children and/or families within a need identified social welfare system.
• Child Welfare experience preferred.
• Must have a valid drivers' license and current auto insurance coverage.
