Gross Schechter Day School is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and student-centered Talmud Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will inspire students in 5th-8th grade to engage deeply with Talmudic texts while helping them explore the enduring themes, values, and questions that shape Jewish life and identity. This educator will foster a love of learning, encourage critical thinking, and create meaningful connections between ancient texts and the lives of contemporary adolescents. The successful candidate will possess strong classroom management skills, a deep understanding of middle school learners, and a commitment to collaboration within a vibrant Conservative/egalitarian Jewish community.
