About Golda Och Academy
Golda Och Academy is a vibrant learning community that focuses on the individual intellectual, social, and spiritual needs of each child. We cultivate in students a lifelong love of learning within the context of Jewish knowledge and heritage. Our school is located on two campuses — one for the Lower School and one for the Upper School — located about two miles apart in West Orange, serving approximately 500 students from more than 60 communities across New Jersey.
Position
Golda Och Academy is accepting applications for a full-time middle school language arts teacher to teach a range of middle school courses beginning in the fall of 2020.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have demonstrated success in teaching middle school, the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, and a desire to be part of an independent school community. Candidates should have experience integrating technology in the classroom and the ability to differentiate instruction to effectively work with a range of learners. Ideal candidates will hold an M.A. and/or certification.

- At least 3 years of relevant teaching experience preferred
- M.A. and/or certification preferred
- Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
- In Class teacher
- Middle School
- Language Arts/Social Studies
