We are looking for talented individuals who can facilitate fun, interactive classes in one (or more) of the following areas:

• Creative Movement & Dance: Facilitating fun, high-energy, accessible movement and dance activities.

• Children’s Cooking & Snack Making: Leading hands-on, safe, and engaging culinary/snack-building workshops for youth.

• Music & Rhythm: Leading interactive music groups, sing-alongs, or rhythmic instrument circles.

• Sensory Art & Crafts: Guiding creative, hands-on visual arts and tactile sensory projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate a structured, engaging 1-hour weekly session tailored to participant needs and abilities.

• Create a warm, encouraging, and organized environment that fosters social interaction and self-expression.

• Prepare and manage required materials, instruments, or supplies for your activity.

• Adapt activities to ensure all participants are included and supported.

Qualifications & Experience

• Prior experience facilitating group activities, teaching, or working with children, young adults, or individuals with diverse needs (preferred).

• Demonstrated expertise or background in your chosen subject area (Music, Culinary Arts, Movement, Fine Arts, etc.).

• Strong classroom/group management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Reliable, punctual, and passionate about community programming.

• Ideal for college students, retirees, freelancers, teachers, local artists, therapists, etc.

• Must be located in or able to commute to Oceanside, NY.

Compensation

• Competitive Pay: $40.00 – $60.00/hour, based on experience and class specialization.
