Description

The marketing coordinator will support the marketing and communications team with copy and content development, email marketing, website management and social media marketing. This role is ideal for a creative communicator who is highly organized, a strong writer and fluent in current digital trends and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing and communications campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
  • Create compelling copy following AP style and brand voice for communications efforts including but not limited to email campaigns, social media, direct mail, print pieces, advertisements, etc.
  • Support digital marketing specialist in content creation and execution for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) including calendaring and engagement.
  • Capture photo and video content for social media marketing.
  • Design and edit visuals (both graphic and video) using Canva.
  • Build and manage email campaigns using Emma, including layout, copywriting and distribution.
  • Assist with managing and organizing email and mailing lists, including list segmentation, maintenance and ensuring accurate audience targeting for campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance across social and email channels.
  • Maintain familiarity with digital advertising platforms including Google Ads and social media advertising tools.
  • Support text messaging campaigns as needed using Salesforce/Mogli.
  • Assist with digital screen content via Reach Media platform (media wall, fitness center screens, etc.) by creating and updating visuals.
  • Help manage the website by assisting with regular content updates and collaborating on strategies to improve user experience and optimize site functionality.
  • Collaborate across departments to gather content and ensure consistent messaging and branding.
  • Draft press releases and coordinate with media for story and advertising placements.
  • Accompany staff as needed to media opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in marketing, communications or related role.
  • Strong command of AP Style and excellent writing and proofreading skills.
  • Proficiency in managing and creating content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) and using scheduling/planning tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in Canva; capable of producing high-quality static and video content.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (Emma preferred, or similar platforms such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact).
  • Familiarity with Google Ads.
  • Experience with website management; strong familiarity with WordPress preferred.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, agency-style environment supporting multiple clients simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Curious and tech-savvy, with a willingness and excitement to explore new platforms, tools and trends that can enhance our digital marketing efforts.
  • Adaptable, self-motivated and comfortable switching between a variety of tasks and platforms throughout the day.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
