ENTER’s Director of North American Operations will help write the next chapter of ENTER’s story by impacting the narrative of Jewish peoplehood and the connection the Jewish people have all over the world. We are looking for a creative thinker who is energized by creating meaningful relationships with Jewish communities and organizations that are aligned with our mission.

The role will serve as an integral member of ENTER’s team. The ENTER office is headquartered in Israel, currently with a team of five people, led by Alon Friedman, CEO. This person should be living in the U.S. The role requires occasional travel within the United States and to Israel. The Director should have extensive experience and deep familiarity with Jewish communal work in the U.S. as well as experience working with Israeli organizations. English fluency is required, and proficiency to fluency in Hebrew is a plus.

Specifically, the Director will work with the CEO in leading ENTER’s global operations in North America, which includes community organizing, managing partnerships, planning budgets, producing events/conferences, marketing and promoting programs and initiatives, fundraising, grant writing, maintaining communication database, writing and distributing reports to stakeholders and partners.

Overall Responsibilities • Strategy & Vision o Develop and foster relationships with key influential leaders and organizations that are closely aligned with ENTER’s programs and initiatives. o Ability to work with relevant partners and create a network of partner agencies, which will enhance ENTER and help grow its programs. • Partnerships with Organizations & Board Leadership o Manage existing collaborations and create new relationships with organizations that are partnering with ENTER in all pillars of our work. o Assist the CEO in the development and close collaborative relationships with Board and committee members. • Fundraising o Foster and manage relationships with funders and communities that are relevant to the work of ENTER, and identify and cultivate innovative revenue streams for program growth and expansion. o Identify grant application and manage grant reporting activity for the organization. o Coordinate and help preparing periodical fundraising (and other) trips for the CEO. • Stakeholder & External Relations o Manage database of stakeholders and partners that receive communication from ENTER.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience and Skills: At least 7 years of experience in nonprofit, philanthropy, or other relevant sectors, with strong writing, research, and critical-thinking abilities, as well as demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the areas of Global Jewish affairs, Israel affairs, the North American Jewish nonprofit sector and global philanthropy. • Collaboration and Initiative: Team player with a positive and proactive attitude who is capable of solving challenges creatively and independently, managing time efficiently, and collaborating effectively with colleagues and partners all over the world. • Values and Approach: Track record of integrity, humor, excitement, positivity and thoughtfulness, demonstrating a commitment to the mission of ENTER, with a deep understanding of the relationship between Jewish communities globally and Israelis.
