Ekar Farm is seeking new Board members who are passionate about community, land stewardship, and food justice to help guide our next chapter at our new permanent home at Shalom Park in Aurora. Board members play a vital role in supporting Ekar’s mission, strengthening organizational sustainability, and serving as ambassadors within the broader community. We are especially interested in individuals who bring experience or interest in areas such as nonprofit governance, fundraising, finance, strategic planning, legal expertise, communications/marketing, community organizing, or urban agriculture and food systems. We welcome board members who value collaboration, thoughtful leadership, and relationship-building and who are excited to help steward Ekar’s long-term vision while sharing responsibility for the organization’s growth and impact.
