We are seeking an experienced MEC Director of Residential Services who will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operations of the residential program at the Center for Recovery and Wellness (CRW). This role involves managing administrative tasks, ensuring physical plant safety, and maintaining client systems to create a supportive environment for the effective delivery of quality services. The Director plays a crucial role in upholding the organization's mission to provide comprehensive support to individuals in recovery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Administration, Supervision and Monitoring

  • Provide documented performance-based supervision, coaching, training, and direction to MEC staff and interns.
  • Participate in the evaluation of assigned staff and interns.
  • Lead regularly scheduled communication Shift meetings and other staff business meetings.
  • Monitor the attainment of goals and effectiveness of services, ensuring program productivity goals are reached.
  • Ensure site compliance with all OASAS and HRA regulatory standards, perform quality assurance functions, and maintain the site in audit-ready condition.
  • Coordinate MEC staff coverage to ensure safe operations of the program.
  • Conduct professional development plans and annual performance reviews.
  • Serve as the on-call weekday manager in collaboration with the residential leadership team.
  • Provide crisis intervention as required.
  • Ensure staff and interns operate within their scope of expertise and practice.
  • Oversee facilities and inventory, ensuring safety, security, maintenance, and repairs through routine inspections.
  • Manage daily operations, including client systems, metro-card distribution, fire drills, client movement, and front desk activities.
  • Manage inventories of cosmetic, janitorial, and office supplies.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and check requests.
  • Monitor client group attendance, pass control, and sign-in/out sheets.
  • Ensure compliance with the Health, Safety, and Risk Management Manual.
  • Review and approve staff timecards and maintain adequate staff coverage.
  • Manage and report incidents effectively.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Assist in the Continuing Quality Improvement process.

Clinical

  • Provide clients with individual and group counseling in accordance with treatment plan
  • Participate in house meetings and morning meetings while on site.
  • Oversee the behavior modification system to ensure client accountability when clients do not follow rules. Apply a trauma-informed lens when assigning interventions for behavior issues.

Other

  • Attend supervisory meetings, special agency staff meetings, and trainings
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

  • (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC) or CASAC) with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a residential program or similar setting.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications in health and safety management are a plus.
