<div><div><div><div> <p>Hours: Part time</p> <p>Weekdays (flexible which days)</p> <p>3 days 12pm – 6pm </p> <p>Weekends </p> <p>9am - 2pm</p> <p><br></p> <p>Job description:</p> <p>The Aquatics Program Coordinator supports the Aquatics Manager in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all aquatic programs. </p> <p>This role is responsible for:</p> <ul> <li>coordinating private swim lessons</li> <li>assisting with instructor and group lesson assessments</li> <li>teaching lessons as needed</li> <li>completing other delegated tasks to support daily operations</li> </ul> <p>In collaboration with the Aquatics Manager, the Aquatics Program Coordinator provides administrative and logistical support for the scheduling, staffing, and oversight of all pool programs, including lap swim, family swim, after-school swim, preschool and camp programs (seasonal), as well as private and group swim lessons. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills to help maintain high-quality programming and an excellent experience for participants and staff alike.</p> <p><br></p> <p>Requirements: </p> <p>3+ years of experience in aquatics as an instructor and/or lifeguard. </p> <p>Pay Rate $20 - $25 and hour.</p> <p><br></p> </div></div></div></div>

The center accomplishes these goals in ways that reflect the unique location and role of the center in the nation’s capital and the many contributions of the American Jewish community in the United States.

While the center is designed primarily to fulfill the needs of the Jewish community and to preserve and enhance the culture, traditions, ethics, and philosophy of Judaism, membership and participation in activities of the center are open to all residents of the metropolitan area. The Edlavitch DCJCC is a member of the Jewish Community Center Association (JCCA), a beneficiary agency of the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, and a designated agency of the United Way.
