de Toledo High School, a vibrant and innovative independent high school, is seeking an experienced and dynamic 10th Grade Level Dean for a full-time position beginning in August 2026. The 10th Grade Level Dean is responsible for supporting students’ academic progress, personal growth, and overall well-being while upholding the mission and values of dTHS.Key Responsibilities:- Promote the school’s mission and serve as a positive role model within the community.- Monitor academic progress, graduation requirements, schedules, and weekly assessments.- Collaborate with the Director of Student Learning and College Counseling to support accommodations and academic planning.- Meet regularly with students to review progress and communicate consistent updates to families.- Oversee attendance, academic standing, and Dean’s List recognition.- Partner with counselors and outside providers to support students’ social and emotional needs.- Serve as the primary contact for grade-level discipline; ensure fair and consistent policy enforcement.- Lead advisory programming focused on study skills, resilience, accountability, and goal setting.- Facilitate grade-level faculty meetings and participate in Student Support Team meetings.- Plan and support grade-level events, trips, and Shabbaton.- Teach two (2) academic classes.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a related field.- 2+ years of experience as a Grade Level Dean.- Independent school experience preferred; strong interpersonal and communication skills.Qualified candidates regardless of faith are encouraged to email a cover letter and resume to careers@dths.org.Salary Range: $85,000–$105,000 DOE.
