Part-Time Evening Receptionist – Assisted Living Community
The Massry Residence for Assisted Living
Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour

The Massry Residence for Assisted Living is seeking a professional, friendly, and dependable Receptionist to join our team in a part-time evening position. This role is scheduled for 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM and requires availability every weekend.

This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming and safe environment for residents, families, visitors, and staff. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and customer service skills who enjoys working with older adults and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

Schedule

• Part-Time
• Evening Shift: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Every Weekend Required

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct visitors at the main entrance
• Answer and route incoming phone calls professionally
• Provide information to residents, families, and visitors
• Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area
• Observe building traffic to help ensure resident safety and security
• Notify management of unusual or emergency situations
• Assist residents with Country Kitchen purchases and maintain logs
• Prepare lobby/activity areas for scheduled entertainment and activities
• Provide clerical and administrative support as needed
• Coordinate with administration regarding front desk and switchboard coverage

Qualifications

• Excellent telephone and interpersonal communication skills
• Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Patience, tact, and sensitivity when working with older adults
• Reliable attendance and professional appearance required
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform normal office duties
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
