Pay Range: $18.50 – $26.88 per hour

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare fresh, hot meals including entrées, soups, vegetables, and sides
  • Follow recipes and meal plans for daily service and special events
  • Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with kosher guidelines
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation
  • Check food temperatures and taste dishes to ensure quality
  • Keep kitchen areas clean, organized, and running efficiently
  • Properly store food and complete required prep logs
  • Work independently while staying connected with the Executive Chef and team
  • Support a safe environment, including following emergency procedures

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous cooking or food service experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A positive attitude and genuine care for older adults

Physical Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable standing and moving for extended periods
  • Ability to safely use kitchen equipment (knives, slicers, etc.)
