Senior Accountant
Full-Time | Exempt
Salary Range: $75,621 – $94,586 annually
Join Our Team
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to join our finance team. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role plays a critical part in maintaining financial integrity, supporting strategic planning, and ensuring compliance within a dynamic healthcare environment.
What You’ll Do
As a Senior Accountant, you will take ownership of key accounting functions and contribute to the financial health of the organization:
- Maintain and monitor financial records across general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Prepare external reports for financial institutions, insurance providers, and government agencies (including cost reports and tax filings)
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Reconcile departmental and functional financial reports
- Produce monthly financial statements and support the closing process
- Process bi-weekly payroll
- Support the CFO with Assisted Living Facility accounting and special projects
Accounts Payable & Fixed Assets Oversight
- Supervise Accounts Payable operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Serve as backup for A/P functions, including invoice entry and check runs
- Assign general ledger codes and prepare deposits as needed
- Review and maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- 2–6 years of accounting experience
- Healthcare accounting experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
