We are currently seeking Full and Part-Time, Dietary Aides for our fast paced and family-oriented facility. If selected, you will be responsible for creating an enjoyable dining experience for the residents and their guests in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, with our established policies and procedures, style and order of service, and as may be directed by the Service Manager and/or Director of Dining Services.

The basic responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring nutritional adequacy through serving food as indicated on modified diets, as well as providing feedback from residents to Director of Food Services on nutritional problems.
• Following all safety and sanitation rules and regulations.
• Promoting clean, safe and neat environment for residents, self and staff.
• Demonstrating knowledge of fire procedures, and assisting with evacuation of residents to a safe location in the event of fire or other emergency.
• Maintaining confidentiality of residents’ personal and medical record information.
• Working independently, given proper direction.
• Ensures kosher laws are adhered to according to Vaad guidelines.
• All other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner.
• High school education preferred.
