Do you have experience with long term care? Are you looking to take the next step in your career?

We are currently seeking applicants for our Admissions Nurse (RN). If selected, you will be responsible for participating in the planning, organization, coordination and general management of the Nursing Department.

Your basic responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring a smooth transition for our new residents into our facility
• Completes reports.
• Monitoring and evaluating progress of acutely ill and unstable residents exhibiting changes in conditions.
• Reviewing care plans of residents who exhibit changes in conditions to determine follow up action required by changes.
• Works with the Director of Nursing in a variety of ways to help in the development and maintaining of nursing service policies, objectives, and procedures.
• Discussing and reviewing issues and concerns regarding quality, and other issues related to the delivery of nursing care throughout the facility.
• Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:

• A current license to practice nursing in the State of New York.
• A minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience preferred
• One (1) year of long term care and admission, administrative, supervisory experience preferred.

WORK SCHEDULE: FT M-F 11am-7pm

Pay: $38.00 - $45.00 per hour
