Join Our Culinary Team at The Massry Assisted Living Residence

We are looking for an experienced Full-Time Cook to join the team at The Massry Assisted Living Residence, part of the respected Daughters of Sarah Community for Seniors. We pride ourselves on offering a kosher restaurant-style dining experience for our residents and are searching for a self-motivated, customer-focused individual to help us continue this tradition of excellence.

Located adjacent to the beautiful New Karner Preserve and conveniently near Crossgates Mall on the CDTA bus line, our community offers a warm, family-like atmosphere.

The Role

· Schedule: Full-time, 7 am - 3 pm, including every other weekend. Hours may vary depending on staffing needs.

· Responsibilities: Prepare and serve delicious meals for our residents, adhering to high standards of safety and sanitation.

· Key Skills: Must be self-motivated, customer service-focused, an effective problem solver, and capable of working both independently and as part of a dedicated team.

Requirements

· High school education or GED required.

· Prior cooking experience in food service is preferred, including comprehensive knowledge of food preparation and handling techniques.

· Kosher experience is a definite plus.
