Congregation Shaarei Shamayim is a vibrant Jewish community in Madison, affiliated with the Jewish Reconstructionist movement and Aleph: Alliance for Jewish Renewal. The congregation offers a range of services, educational programs for children and adults, and fosters an inclusive environment for all members, regardless of their background. With a commitment to spiritual growth, social action, and community engagement, they celebrate Jewish holidays and provide opportunities for members to deepen their connection to Judaism. The community has grown significantly since its founding in 1989, now serving over 100 households and offering diverse programming that includes Shabbat services, educational classes, and social events.
