orshalomlc.orgCongregation Or Shalom is a growing, yet intimate Reform Congregation located in Vernon Hills, one of Chicago’s vibrant Northwest suburbs. We currently have about 380 member families. Our goal is to meet the diverse spiritual, educational and cultural needs of our congregants and the local Jewish community. We welcome and include interfaith families in all facets of our Temple life. Or Shalom provides a spiritual home for those seeking a meaningful Jewish life within a caring community. The mission of the Or Shalom Social Action Committee is to make a positive impact on the community at large through congregant participation in charitable events. In doing so, we teach our youth through example, the importance of mitzvah and tzedakah."
