Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity in Boca Raton for a stellar candidate. We are looking for a Part-Time Marketing Assistant to serve as a member of the Congregation B’nai Israel’s Marketing Team. The position reports directly to the Director of Marketing and Communications and will play a vital role in promoting the synagogue's preschool and its parent organization through effective marketing strategies. The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for creating marketing materials, newsletters, and executing communications plans for the school and its parent organization.

Known for exceptional education programs, CBI offers an APPLE accredited award-winning preschool, an innovative religious school and renowned adult education programs. With an ongoing commitment to social action, CBI promotes giving and volunteering within the community at large.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Marketing Materials: Create visually appealing flyers, brochures, and other promotional materials for the preschool and parent organization.
  • Newsletter Development: Develop and manage monthly newsletters to keep parents and stakeholders informed about school activities and initiatives.
  • Website Calendar Management: Ensure that new and consistent information is posted regularly, and maintain the school’s calendar and events
  • Liaison Role: Serve as a point of contact between the school and the synagogue's marketing team, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Social Media Management: Create social content for individual platforms to support the execution of the synagogue and school’s editorial calendar, as well as track social media engagement to identify high performing ideas and campaigns for scalability.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design or related field
  • 1+ years of related experience
  • Able to work in our Boca Raton office
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong digital marketing skills
  • Proficient in Canva and Microsoft Office Applications
  • Must be proactive, resourceful, and self-motivated
  • Able to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment and can multi-task

Is a Plus:

  • Knowledge of Jewish culture, holidays and traditions
  • Exceptional writing and proofreading skills
  • Experience with Wordpress
  • Working knowledge of email marketing software (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.)

Compensation and Benefits:

  • 10-15 hours a week
  • $20/hour
  • All national and Jewish holidays are observed
