The Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations is the proven and effective voice of organized American Jewry, advancing the interests of the American Jewish community, sustaining broad-based support for Israel and addressing the critical concerns facing world Jewry. Conference leaders have worked closely with every sitting U.S. president and Israeli Prime Minister since 1956, often impacting the formulation of foreign policy and helping interpret and advance the America-Israel alliance. The Conference is the preeminent forum where heads of more than 50 influential and diverse national organizations across the spectrum of the American Jewish community come together in mutual respect to deliberate vital national and international issues. Recognizing that common interests and goals far outweigh differences, the Conference sets policy and priorities, deliberates proactive strategies and takes collective action.
