The CSS was the first U.S. organization to introduce and implement a mindset long held by Jewish communities around the world: Protecting Jewish life and the Jewish way of life starts with Jews taking ownership of their own security. Starting with a handful of congregants protecting a New York City synagogue in 2007, the CSS has grown to become a national network, with thousands of trained volunteers protecting hundreds of Jewish events, institutions, and synagogues across all denominations. Our members – affiliated and unaffiliated – represent the rich diversity of the American Jewish community. WE PROTECT JEWISH LIFE IN THE U.S.
