Chochmat HaLev is a thriving Jewish spiritual community in Berkeley, CA, known for our welcoming and inclusive approach, high-energy musical prayer services, deep meditation and contemplative offerings, and wide range of classes and programs that offer meaningful spiritual experiences.

We are seeking a skilled Zoom Operator to manage the livestream of our Shabbat services. Responsibilities include running the video equipment, moderating the chat, and ensuring cyber security during services.

Working hours:

• First Friday of the month, 5:45pm-7:45pm
• Third Friday of the month, 6:45pm – 8:45pm
• Second Saturday of the month, 9:45am – 1pm
• Occasional holiday and special events over the course of the year

We request a one-year commitment to this role and consistent availability during the above times (with possible accommodations for occasional absences with advanced notice). We may be able to accommodate candidates who can only be available one or two of the above times (by dividing the role between two people).

Role must be performed in-person at Chochmat HaLev in Berkeley.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of core Zoom functionality
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Helpful but not required:

• Basic knowledge of Hebrew and/or Jewish prayers

Pay: $25/hour
