The Macks Jewish Connection Network (The Network), an agency of The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore, is seeking an organized, proactive, and enthusiastic professional to join our team and support our relationship-based community engagement efforts in Jewish Baltimore as Program Assistant. This is an 18 hour/week in-person role, including approximately two days per week in the office (including Wednesdays 9am-3pm for team meetings), with additional hours at programs, which primarily take place on evenings and Sundays in locations around Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

The ideal candidate has a “can-do” attitude and a genuine interest in connecting with people. Our programs engage participants in different life stages from young adults and families with children to retirees and older adults, all of whom are seeking connection. This position plays a key role in helping every participant feel included and valued, while supporting The Network’s mission of building connection and community across Jewish Baltimore.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and organizing program supplies
  • Setting up and cleaning up from events
  • Greeting participants and managing check-in
  • Assisting with logistics to ensure smooth program flow
  • Representing The Network’s welcoming, people-centered approach
  • Additional administrative and operations projects as time allows

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has 1-3 years related work experience
  • Is able to compile and manage a running task list
  • Is friendly, enthusiastic, and comfortable talking to people and working on a team
  • Is flexible and able to support programs serving a wide audience - from young adults and families with children to retirees and older adults

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $25/hour, up to 18 hours/week
