This is a full-time hybrid position based in Baltimore, with some evening and weekend responsibilities required.
What You’ll Do

- Build and maintain relationships with parents and caregivers, particularly those not yet actively connected to Jewish community life, and track individual engagement through contact reports and follow-up
- Plan and lead inclusive, family-friendly Jewish programs—including Tot Shabbats, school holiday events, experiences for PJ Our Way subscribers (ages 8–12), and parent groups—and manage all aspects of program logistics, communications, and participant follow-up
- Create and manage a parent advisory committee to inform and support program development
- Serve as the primary liaison to the PJ Library national office, including reporting, grants, and participation in national cohorts
- Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with local Jewish institutions, including early childhood programs, summer camps, and synagogues.
- Contribute to family-facing communications, including newsletters and social media
- Support agency-wide events and serve as back-up for other family and community programs as needed
Skills & Qualifications

- Proven ability to build relationships with adults raising children and provide high-quality customer service
- Experience planning and implementing programs for children and families
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage logistics, budgets, and follow-up
- Comfort working both independently and collaboratively with colleagues, volunteers, and lay leaders
- Experience educating children and/or adults about Jewish holidays, values, and traditions in informal settings
- Knowledge of the Jewish community in Baltimore and an understanding of the diverse experiences of today’s Jewish families
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with CRM systems and a willingness to learn new technologies
