Capital Camps & Retreat Center (CCRC) is seeking a creative, mission-driven Summer Videographer to capture and tell the story of our camp community, documenting the energy, joy, Jewish identity-building, friendships, traditions, and transformational experiences that define life at CCRC. Works closely with the Development & Campaign Strategy team to create short- and long-form content for families, alumni, donors, social media, fundraising, and year-round marketing; helps build an archive ahead of future strategic communications and anniversary initiatives. Key Responsibilities:Video Production & Storytelling: capture daily camp life and special events; create short-form content for Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts; produce recap/highlight videos; capture B-roll; conduct occasional informal interviews; help develop visual storytelling aligned with communications and philanthropic priorities; reports to the Director of Campaign Strategy & Philanthropy. Editing & Content Management: edit on tight timelines; organize and maintain footage libraries; collaborate on branding/messaging; ensure content reflects values and mission; prepare assets for year-round use. Core Expectations & Engagement: positive role model; collaborate with leadership and staff; maintain privacy policies and appropriate boundaries; professionalism focused on camper experience; communicate effectively and remain open to feedback; creativity, adaptability, initiative; leadership presence with campers. Qualifications:Experience filming and editing short-/long-form content; proficiency with Final Cut Pro, CapCut, and Canva; social media video experience preferred; strong storytelling instincts; ability to manage multiple projects; positive attitude and interpersonal skills; prior camp experience preferred; familiarity with Jewish camp culture a plus; portfolio required. Compensation & Benefits:- Salary range: $2,500 – $4,500 for full summer (commensurate with experience).- Meals and housing provided while on-site in Waynesboro, PA. Summer Dates:- Camp Session Dates: June 21 – August 9. Full summer availability preferred. Location:Hybrid with 3–4 days per week onsite at Capital Camps & Retreat Center in Waynesboro, PA, with the opportunity to increase onsite presence based on interest, project needs, or programming priorities.
