BACKGROUND Capital Camps & Retreat Center (CCRC), a non-profit Jewish camping and retreat organization, is seeking a part-time or full-time Community Care Manager to join its year-round Camp Team. Agency Overview: CCRC provides enriching, summer overnight camp and year-round retreat services to children, families and organizations primarily from the Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia areas. The agency’s office is located in Rockville, MD, and the camp and retreat center are located in Waynesboro, PA. Position Overview: Capital Camps is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Care Manager to help foster inclusive and supportive environments where children and staff can thrive emotionally, socially, and physically. Pre-Camp Responsibilities include collaborating with families, designing individualized support plans, reviewing camper/staff files, and leading pre-camp staff training. In-Camp Responsibilities include residing on-site during summer, serving as primary point of contact for social/emotional/mental health, supervising inclusion (Atzma’im) supports and Yoetzot staff, and collaborating with the Camp Director and medical team. Additional Information: Summer worksite is in Waynesboro, PA; year-round worksite is in North Bethesda, MD. COMPENSATION: $60,000 – $70,000 annual full-time salary, commensurate with experience; part-time employment available.
