POSITION OVERVIEW

This is a paid, part-time internship requiring 20 hours per week, beginning May 15, 2026 or as soon as available and ending December 24, 2026.

Reporting to the Director for Quebec and Atlantic Canada, the Intern will work primarily with the Quebec Programming and Fundraising Team, QC & Atlantic Canada Region, and secondarily with other CJPAC team members.

Applicants must be a full-time student during the 2026 – 2027 school year, and a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident or possess a valid Work Permit. This is a Montreal-based hybrid position, and some in-person availability will be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support recruiting and outreach, including assisting at events and helping with recruitment for CJPAC’s Fellowship, Generation, and other programs.
  • Contribute to communications, including filming, photography, and content support.
  • Assist with data entry and management.
  • Work on other projects and tasks as assigned to support the team.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong proficiency in French is required. Need to be able to speak and understand basic French.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Growth mindset and eagerness to learn.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is an asset.

COMPENSATION

  • Compensation will be based on Ontario minimum wage in effect at the time of hiring.
