Overview of the Position:

As the Community and Alumni Mobilization Coordinator, you will play a key role growing our engagement of Jewish Canadians and allies in political training and volunteering, creating and optimizing on-ramps for individuals new to CJPAC.

Reporting to the National Director of Outreach and Programming, and working closely with the national team, you will serve as a connector for CJPAC’s alumni network, finding new and inventive ways to engage our alumni community.

To be successful in this role, a strong understanding of multi-partisanship and the ability to work with community members from all political backgrounds is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Political training. Supporting the development and delivery of CJPAC training programs, including but not limited to:
    • Advancing Campaign Training (ACT)
    • Action Academy
    • Political Action Summits
    • Presenting virtual or in-person political training sessions as required
  • Alumni relations. Engaging and tracking CJPAC Generation and Fellowship Alumni to ensure they are integrated into CJPAC’s mission and programming.
    • Coordinating with CJPAC’s alumni steering committee to ensure alignment with organizational calendars and goals.
    • Storytelling. Helping to create a pipeline of stories, testimonials, and case studies for campaigns, emails, donor communications, and social content.
  • Mobilizing community members. Advancing CJPAC’s work to mobilize community members and allies in election campaigns at all levels of government.
  • Program support. Supporting the Generation and Fellowship programs through form creation and tracking applicants.
  • Salesforce support. Working closely with our Database Specialist to track and create reports on Salesforce to support our national and regional teams.
  • Event support. Supporting the whole team as needed to plan and execute major events.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile:

You are a highly disciplined self-starter with a growth mindset, strong relationship-building skills, and a deep commitment to CJPAC’s mission. A willingness to travel and flexibility around work hours are essential. The ideal candidate will have some hands-on political experience, a strong understanding of the political landscape and Jewish communities in Canada, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and take on new tasks.

Location: Toronto

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience. Medical and dental coverage are provided.

Vacation for this role starts at two weeks per year. In addition, CJPAC observes all Jewish holidays.
