As Director – Business Solutions, you will be responsible for developing and monetizing the College's educational expertise with corporate (B2B) and government (B2G) organizations. You will drive the hybrid commercial strategy, combining consultative selling and public tenders, to achieve progressive financial objectives leading to $3M+ in annual revenues.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the hybrid B2B/B2G business development strategy for Talent, Expertise, Learning and Language solutions;
  • Identify and develop relationships with HR/L&D decision-makers in large companies and conduct solution-oriented consultative selling;
  • Design and propose customized solutions aligned with organizational needs;
  • Define and deploy the public procurement access strategy and supervise the response to tenders;
  • Write or coordinate the drafting of complex proposals and ensure compliance of deliverables;
  • Negotiate and conclude multi-year framework agreements with preferential conditions;
  • Personally manage strategic sales and build a portfolio of active customers;
  • Implement and optimize a CRM (Salesforce or HubSpot) with weekly reporting.

Requirements

  • Relevant university degree (administration, management, marketing, industrial relations or related field) or equivalent combination;
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in business development with significant exposure to B2B and B2G channels;
  • Revenue generation history of $1M+ annually;
  • Knowledge of Canadian tendering processes (MERX, SEAO, Bonfire, etc.) and compliance requirements;
  • Proficiency in French language (spoken and written);
  • Professional proficiency in English language (spoken and written).

This role involves frequent interactions with internal and external customers and partners on a national and global scale. Professional proficiency in English is therefore a requirement for this role.
