Established in 1961, Camp Judaea is a Jewish, Israel-centered summer camp community for campers ages 7-15 located in Hendersonville, NC. At CJ, we offer a wide variety of fun activities in a loving family atmosphere allowing campers to grow and even transform themselves every summer they return. Camp Judaea allows campers to explore, learn and grow while being surrounded by unconditional love and acceptance. We know and understand each child individually and embrace them in a caring summer family where life-long friendships develop and are nurtured. Camp Judaea’s mission is to provide a safe, fun, nurturing community where children, teens, and young adults grow as individuals, build lifelong friendships, develop leadership skills, and establish enduring connections with Judaism, Israel, and the natural environment.
