Beth El Day Camp in New Rochelle, NY is seeking a visionary, creative, and strategic Camp Director to lead and grow our beloved summer program.

For over 60 years, Beth El Day Camp has provided a joyful, values-driven experience for approximately 220–250 campers in a safe and nurturing Jewish environment. Serving children ages 2–12, our camp offers a dynamic mix of aquatics, sports, music, art, karate, STEM, and more — all designed to support each child’s physical, social, and emotional growth.

As part of Beth El Synagogue Center, a vibrant multi-generational congregation, our camp is a central expression of community, connection, and Jewish values.

We are looking for a dynamic leader who will build on a strong foundation while bringing fresh ideas, innovation, and energy to shape the future of camp.

Key areas of leadership include:

✨ Staff recruitment, training, and culture-building

✨ Family and community engagement

✨ Operations, safety, and organizational excellence

✨ Grant development and fundraising opportunities

Qualifications include:

✔ Significant leadership experience in camp, youth programming, or experiential education

✔ Strong strategic thinking and organizational skills

✔ Experience with recruitment, enrollment growth, and program development

✔ Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

✔ Proficiency with CampMinder, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office

✔ A sense of humor, flexibility, and passion for creating meaningful experiences for children

💼 Full-Time Position

💰 Salary Range: $90,000–$110,000 + comprehensive benefits
