History Founded in 2009 as an annual tour of New York City as a gesture of solidarity and support for wounded IDF soldiers, Belev Echad has grown into an internationally recognized non-profit dedicated to restoring these heroes back to life through physical, medical, legal, emotional, and financial support. We provide our soldiers with life-saving treatment to help restore their mental and physical health with intention and purpose, resources that are not easily accessible. Position Overview Belev Echad is seeking a dynamic, driven, and mission-aligned Director of Development in acheiving our expanding annual fundraising goals. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you’ll manage and grow a portfolio of current and prospective major donors, ensuring long-term engagement and investment in our mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development team in implementing a strategic and sustainable fundraising plan.
• Cultivate, steward, solicit, and upgrade donors—managing a strong pipeline of mid- to high-level partners.
• Identify and engage new prospects aligned with our mission and values.
• Conduct regular in-person and virtual meetings with donors across your portfolio.
• Plan and execute compelling donor experiences, events, and campaigns.
• Attend donor events
• Track progress against goals, providing regular reports and insights.

Candidate Qualifications

• 3–5 years of fundraising experience, preferably with a proven record of securing major gifts.
• A passionate advocate for Israel and Jewish causes.
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
• A creative thinker and strategic planner who thrives on results.
• Strong writing and presentation skills, with an ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• A collaborative spirit—comfortable working independently and as part of a fast-moving, mission-driven team.
