Our campers and staff count the days all year until they have the opportunity to come back to summer camp. Our 340-acre site and its collection of cabins, activity areas, and communal gathering spaces are literally a home away from home for our summer camp community. Our facilities team ensures that the buildings and grounds are maintained in a safe and professional manner. Working under the direction of the Facilities Manager, this position is primarily responsible for maintaining a clean environment for our campers, staff, and visitors.
Dates of Employment: May 20 – August 9, 2026
Essential Job Duties:
- Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms.
- Cleans, mops, washes, buffs, and vacuums floors.
- Empties trash and recycling.
- Maintains outside walk areas, including sweeping debris and washing walkways.
- Cleans and polishes fixtures.
- Washes windows.
- Dusts and vacuums furniture.
- Tracks cleaning supply use and coordinates with the Facilities Director to ensure
appropriate supplies are always in-stock and available. - Observes all safety precautions and comply with all health and safety rules and
procedures. - Attends staff and in-service training during the summer.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Aspects of the Position:
- This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day
- The employee must frequently lift and move items over 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration.
- The employee will be exposed to outside weather conditions.
