Office Assistants provide support to the Office Manager and the full-time team. This includes informing and educating inquiring parents and other administrative tasks required.

Dates of Employment: June 5, 2026 – August 10, 2026

Essential Job Duties:

  • Answering phones and dealing with parent questions, triage of camp forms (maintenance, housekeeping, kitchen to appropriate head staff), connecting callers to other offices and staff members, printing out emails, filing, sorting mail, and packages, copying, etc.
  • Sort summer canteen
  • Work with the Year-round and Summer Leadership team to ensure a safe, fun, and successful summer camp season

Qualifications: (Minimum Education and Experience)

  • Experience with Campminder is preferred, but not required.
  • 1-2 years of work experience in an administrative role
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize
  • Self-starter and driven
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google products, including mail merge and excel functions

Physical Aspects of the Job:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, including unloading packages, and lifting supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Visual ability to identify and respond to environmental hazards.
  • Ability to operate office equipment, including electronic equipment, according to safe recommended methods.
  • Physical mobility and endurance to perform tasks while standing for long periods of time (60 minutes or more).
  • Ability to work inside and outside at varying temperatures.
