At BBYO, we’re motivated by our mission, inspiring us to reimagine work to make it fun, flexible, and fulfilling.
We are seeking a talented, driven and passionate fundraiser to serve as a Northeast Fundraising Lead for BBYO’s Philanthropic Engagement department. BBYO is at a pivotal moment when both the need and the potential for impact have never been greater. BBYO sits at the center of a rapidly evolving Jewish landscape, increasingly serving as the primary pluralistic platform for post–bar/bat mitzvah engagement and leadership development for Jewish teens. The challenge ahead is to translate that impact into sustained philanthropic investment that fuels BBYO's growth and shapes the future of Jewish communal life.
As the Northeast Fundraising Lead, you will work to secure financial support for BBYO communities in the Northeast. This job combines relationship-building, strategic planning, and community engagement. You will develop and execute strategies to engage alumni, parents, and community members in supporting and advocating for BBYO. You will fundraise, develop volunteer leaders, and create strategic partnerships in each community you serve. This person will be part of a cross-country development team that is responsible for engaging external stakeholders in BBYO’s work in creative and innovative ways.
We’re looking for someone who excels in influence, storytelling, and communicating impact. This person will have a strong ability to develop relationships and collaborate with colleagues across departments. This person will have experience coordinating and prioritizing multiple projects within a deadline-driven environment, while remaining flexible to manage the unexpected.
BBYO offers the rare chance to take on a meaningful fundraising challenge with the resources, partnership, and platform needed to achieve truly outsized results.
