Responsible for oversight and strategy related to youth and camp, family, adult, senior adult, and cultural arts programming and engagement, with a focus on Jewish journeys and agency Jewish identity. Oversees day-to-day program operations and development, aligning with marketing, membership, development, and finance; builds strong staff–volunteer relationships. Job Competencies: collaborative; excellent communication tailored to audience; strong knowledge of Jewish culture/traditions; strong written and verbal communication; community program and partnership development; excellent project management and prioritization; maintain compliance with Texas child care regulations and accreditation; successful staff mentoring and leadership; event planning; Microsoft Office proficiency; weekends/evenings as needed; invested in agency success. Key Responsibilities include but not limited to: supervise program staff; manage/coordinate program services, scheduling, outreach, communications, engagement, and committee staffing; manage Jewish Film Festival & Lonestar Cinema; manage Artistic Journey program; oversee Author Speaker Series; work with CPO on customer service strategy, standards, and procedures; design participant-focused initiatives; analyze feedback/metrics; optimize program mix and goals; collaborate to maintain ACA accreditation; lead special projects; provide vision for camp programming and outcome-based evaluations; integrate Jewish/Israeli culture into programming; identify funding partners; support agency events and fundraising; serve as liaison to sister agencies; coordinate grant reporting (JFSA, Esstman Fund Scholarship); develop new program opportunities; coordinate marketing and social media; oversee contractor contracts; manage department budget; coordinate community-wide events; attend and represent at events. Physical: talk/hear; stand and sit for long periods; walk; use computer/printer/phone; occasional close proximity to others; work indoors/outdoors; occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 3+ years management/supervisory; 5+ years non-profit or similar; excellent project management; familiarity with local Jewish community and culture or JCC experience; event planning with A/V; high proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience.
